How site measurement works
We measure visits and clicks on Amazon book links to understand which books interest readers. A random first-party cookie groups activity into a visit and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
The tracker stores the visit’s random identifier and times, and for Amazon clicks, the book identifier, public page path, and time. It does not store visitor names, emails, IP addresses, or URL search parameters. This is separate from any email you voluntarily provide to our newsletter provider.
Results are restricted to the site owner. Individual purchase information is not available to this tracker. Records are retained for up to 90 days with periodic cleanup.
To opt out, enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in a compatible browser. The tracker honors either signal. Disabling JavaScript also prevents this measurement. Hosting and newsletter services may separately process information needed to operate their services.
